(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 18 - Gondolieri turned scuba divers have
scooped 1.5 tonnes of waste from Venice canals in their latest
clean-up project for the iconic Venice waterways.
"This is a record amount," they said Monday.
The refuse was recovered from two rii, San Triovaso and
Giustinian, in the latest such op.
The next, and last, will be at Murano on April 21. (ANSA).
