(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 21 - The number of active permanent job
contracts grew by around 1,099,000 between December 2019 and
December 2023, said INPS on Thursday citing data from its
observatory on precarious employment.
The increase in other types of contract over the same four-year
period instead amounted to roughly 497,000 units.
Overall, the number of active employment contracts grew by
1,595,265, the national pension and social security institute
said.
Northern regions had the greatest share of new permanent job
contracts in the 2019-2023 period, at 73%. (ANSA).
