(ANSA) - ROME, APR 12 - A second probe has been concluded
involving the business activities of Tourism Minister Daniela
Santanchè, a bigwig in Premier Giorgia Meloni's rightwign
Brothers of Italy (FdI) party, judicial sources said Friday.
This second investigation involves suspected false accounting,
they said.
This follows the recent conclusion of a probe into suspected
aggravated fraud of pension and social security agency INPS for
drawing on COVID redundancy funds for staff at her Visibilia
group while they were in fact allegedly working.
Santanchde, who has said she will resign if any charges are
pressed, also faces other probes involving Visibilia including
alleged money laundering and alleged fraudulent bankruptcy.
She recently survived an opposition no confidence motion.
