(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 6 - AC Milan's fans refused to cheer on their team on Sunday as Stefano Pioli's side continued a one-month long winless streak with a 3-3 draw with Genoa at San Siro on Sunday.
The fans are unhappy that Milan have no chance of lifting a trophy this season after their recent elimination from the Europa League by AS Roma at the quarter-final stage.
Already-crowned champions Inter remain 18 ahead of second-placed Milan in Serie A despite losing 1-0 at second-bottom Sassuolo on Saturday.
Third-placed Juventus and fifth-placed Roma battled out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the weekend's big match on Sunday.
Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring for Roma with Gleison Bremer equalizing for the Turin giants. Both sides had chances to snatch the winner in the second half.
Juve are third with 66 points, two more than fourth-placed Bologna, who were held 0-0 at Torino on Friday, while Roma have 60 points.
The top five in Serie A qualify for next season's Champions League.
Sixth-placed Atalanta can pull level with Roma if they beat already-relegated bottom side Salernitana later on Monday.
