Man barricades self in house after stabbing wife and kids

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 23 - A 35-year-old Sicilian mechanic barricaded himself in his house near Agrigento after stabbing his wife and two children Thursday, seriously wounding one of the kids.
    The boy, 7, was in serious condition after being tabbed several times in the abdomen, while the girl, 3, was in less serious condition, as was the 34-year-old mother.
    The man was named as Daniele Alba.
    The victims were taken to hospital in Palermo from the incident at Cianciana, an inland village in the province of Agrigento.
