(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 27 - Premier Giorgia Meloni on Monday
phoned United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed bin
Sultan Al Nahyan who told her he will attend the 50th Group of
Seven Summit in Puglia on June 13-15, Palazzo Cigi said.
"Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had a telephone conversation
today with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed
bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan", said the PM's office.
"During the course of the conversation the excellent state of
bilateral relations was shared, particularly on the economic and
commercial front and the possible further areas of collaboration
and investment, also in the light of the recent creation of the
Maestral joint venture between Fincantieri and the Emirati Edge
Group," it said.
The premier, the communiqué went on to say, "finally thanked her
interlocutor for confirming his participation in the G7 Summit
at Borgo Egnazia". (ANSA).
