(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 13 - NATO Secretary-General Jens
Stoltenberg on Thursday hailed the agreement at the G7 summit in
Italy to give Ukraine a 50 billion dollar loan taken from the
interest on frozen Russian assets.
He said "if I understand well these funds will not be used for
military purposes".
He added: "My proposal to NATO leaders, on the other hand,
covers the military needs, at least 40 billion euro a year",
half of which will come from the US. (ANSA).
