Indictment request for MP Pozzolo over New Year gunshot

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 18 - The Prosecutor's Office in the northern city of Biella said Tuesday that it has requested the indictment of Italian MP Emanuele Pozzolo over a gunshot that was accidentally fired at a New Year's Eve party in the Rosazza at the the turn of this year and injured a man.
    Pozzolo, who has been suspended from Premier Giorgia Meloni's Brothers of Italy (FdI) party due to the incident, said that although he owns the gun, it was not him who fired it.
    The shot injured in the thigh Luca Campana, the partner of the daughter of the bodyguard of Justice Undersecretary Andrea Delmastro, who was also at the party. (ANSA).
