(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 10 - A Venice appeals court on Wednesday
asked the Constitutional Court to rule on the registration by
Padua city council of double surnames for the children of gay
mothers.
The request was seen as another step in favour of the 'rainbow
mothers' of the Veneto region who, in the absence of a specific
law, have been asking for over a year for the Constitutional
Court to express its opinion on the legitimacy of the registry
acts.
