Soccer: Italy defender Calafiori joins Arsenal

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 30 - Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori has joined Premier League Arsenal from Bologna, the two clubs have announced.
    The London side are reportedly paying a transfer fee of 51 or 52 million euros for the 22-year-old, bonuses included.
    Bologna will get half of that due to a sell-on clause in their acquisition of the player from Basel last year.
    Calafiori has signed a five-year contract and will earn around four million euros a year plus bonuses.
    His annual salary at Bologna was around 500,000 euros net.
