'State of calamity over water crisis in Sardinia' - Todde

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 30 - Sardinia Governor Alessandra Todde said an emergency regional government meeting on Tuesday afternoon will "deliberate the state of calamity for the water crisis" on the island.
    "We have a situation that must be managed on all fronts", said Todde shortly before the start of a meeting of the shareholders of Abbanoa, Sardinia's only water management company.
    "We are earmarking extraordinary resources, resources will also be allocated in relation to budget adjustments, therefore it will be absolutely important to manage this type of problem on all fronts", added Todde. (ANSA).
