(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 1 - Two friars were among six people
arrested on Thursday by Carabinieri police in the town of
Afragola, near Naples, over the alleged targetting robbery of
mobile phones to cover up allegedly sexual abuse, sources said.
The theft was commissioned to remove allegedly compromising
images and messages on the phones of the two adult victims of
the alleged abuse by the two friars.
Only one of the friars, who is in service at a church in
Afragola is accused of organizing the robbery, which was staged
in April.
The other suspects are the people who allegedly actually did the
robbery and intermediaries. (ANSA).
