(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 2 - Inail said Friday that 469 fatal
work-related accidents were registered in Italy in the first
half of 2024, a 4.2% increase with respect to the same period in
2023.
The occupational accidents and illness insurance agency said it
received reports of 299,303 work-related accidents in total
between January and June, up 0.9% on the first six months of
2023 but down 21.7% compared to the same period in 2022.
The number of reported occupational diseases increased by 19.6%
to 45,512. (ANSA).
