Concerning situation but mission remains - UNIFIL

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 4 - The situation is "concerning" but the "mission remains", Andrea Tenenti, spokesperson of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) told ANSA on Sunday.
    "We continue to be operational", he explained.
    "Things haven't changed, apart from the higher level of attention.
    "Firefights are continuing, as has occurred for the past 10 months, but activities haven't changed.
    "If conditions ever existed to think about a withdrawal of the mission, it would the Security Council to take the potential decision, even though any country is free to return", Tenenti said. (ANSA).
