(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 5 - Atalanta's Italy forward Gianluca
Scamacca is set for a long spell on the sidelines after
rupturing the cruciate ligament in his left knee during a
pre-season friendly against Parma on Sunday, ANSA sources said.
He was due to undergo surgery at Rome's Villa Stuart clinic on
Monday, the sources said, and is expected to be unavailable for
the Europa League champions for between four and six months.
