(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 5 - Italy's Olympic high jump champion
Gianmarco 'Gimbo' Tamberi will leave for Paris on Monday
afternoon to take part in the Summer Games.
The athlete on Sunday had announced via Instagram that he was in
hospital with a high fever possibly due to kidney stones and
that he had been forced to postpone his departure originally
scheduled that day.
Tamberi was scheduled to depart from Rome's fiumicino airport
early in the afternoon. (ANSA).
