(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 7 - Chimney sweeps from all over the world
are to convene in northern Italy from August 30 to September 2
for the 41st annual Chimney Sweeps' Parade at the small town of
Santa Maria Maggiore in Piedmont.
The traditional parade through the village streets will feature
all the delegations, the biggest from Germany, Switzerland,
Denmark, Sweden and Finland, on Sunday September 1 at 10 am.
The previous day there will be a rally commemorating a local
boy, Faustino Cappini, who was electrocuted in the 1930s after
