'Inflation in tourism sector +4,1% in July'

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 13 - Inflation in the tourism sector in July rose by 0.8% on a monthly basis and 4. 1% on an annual basis a Demoskopika survey said Tuesday The average inflation rate went up for package holidays (from 13.8% to 19.5%), hotels and restaurants (from 4.2% to 4.3%) as well as recreational and cultural services (from 2.4% to 3.8%).
    Conversely, inflation decreased in transport services (from -1.4% to -2.2%).
    The acquired inflation in the tourism sector for 2024 stood at 4.5% said the study.
