(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 16 - Six police guards were injured while
attempting to calm down riots in several pavilions of Turin's
prison, which continued overnight, well-informed sources said on
Friday.
Two others were intoxicated after inhaling smoke when rioters
set on fire mattresses and several other objects.
The prison guards are not in serious condition and have been
dismissed from hospital after receiving treatment, the sources
