(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 26 - Italy's highest administrative court, the Council of State, on Monday ruled in favour of civil aviation authority ENAC and rejected an appeal filed by low cost carried Ryanair to demand extra costs to book seats next to minors and the disabled to the passengers accompanying them, ENAC said Monday. In a statement, the aviation authority said the Council of State had confirmed ENAC's measure "banning, for safety reasons, the request by air carriers for extra costs for those accompanying minors under 12 and the disabled to book seats next to them, considering it commercial practice".
Ryanair's appeal against the sentence issued by the TAR regional administrative court of Lazio in 2022 "was rejected", ENAC announced. (ANSA).
