(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 26 - Sven-Goran Eriksson's fourth Italian
club, Fiorentina, remembered him on its official X account after
the great Swedish coach died of cancer at 76 Monday.
"Fiorentina joins the family in mourning the passing of Sven
Göran Eriksson.
"The Swedish coach held the role of Viola technical director
from 1987 to 1989," it said.
Eriksson was winless in Florence unlike Lazio, where he won the
scudetto in 2000, Roma, where he won the 1986 Italian Cup, and
Sampdoria, where he won another Coppa Italia in 1994. (ANSA).
