Johnny Depp lookalike invented meeting with dead woman

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 28 - An Italian Johnny Depp lookalike has been cited for fraud for making up that he had met a woman knifed to death in northern Italy recently in the bar in which she worked.
    The man, Fabio Delmiglio, falsely told police he had met 33-year-old Sharon Verzeni a few days before she was stabbed to death near Bergamo on the night of 29-30 July.
    Police have questioned Verzeni's boyfriend Sergio Ruocco on several occasions but he has not been placed under investigation.
    Ruocco is now living with Verzeni's family who have repeatedly insisted she must have been murdered by a stranger. (ANSA).
