(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 30 - The consumer confidence index in
August decreased from 98.9 to 96.1, ISTAT said on Friday.
All components worsened: the economic climate decreased from
105.6 to 102.3, the personal one from 96.5 to 93.8, the current
one from 98.5 to 96.3 and, finally, the future one from 99.4 to
95.7, the national statistics bureau reported.
Meanwhile, the index regarding the business confidence climate,
(IESI, ISTAT Economic Sentiment Indicator) went up from 94.3 to
94.7, it said. (ANSA).
