'Italians want cabinet not to waste resources' - Meloni

'We need to have courage to change things that don't work'

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 1 - Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni on Sunday said she is convinced "Italians want a government with the courage to change things that don't work", commenting on online newspaper Affaritaliani.it a survey carried out by Lab21.01 according to which 58.2% of Italians polled promoted the prime minister and 57.9% considered her a "mature leader" - up 3.1% on last year.
    Meloni added that she was persuaded Italians also want a cabinet "concentrating resources on what is important without wasting them" and which "represents Italy in the world with authority and trustworthiness.
    "It's what we try to do every day and I am very happy they see this - one more reason to move forward with even more determination", added the premier, commenting the poll released for the event La Piazza organized by Affaritaliani.it in the Puglia town of Ceglie Messapica near Brindisi.
