Three family members murdered in Milan

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 1 - A 17-year-old on Sunday called the 112 emergency service saying he had killed his father after walking into his 12-year-old brother's room and finding his dad with a knife in his hand beside the bodies of his younger brother and mother in the family apartment in Paderno Dugnano near Milan, investigative sources said.
    The teen said he took the knife from his father's hand and stabbed him to death, according to the sources.
    Investigators on Sunday morning were questioning the 17-year-old over the murders, which occurred in the night between Saturday and Sunday.
    They think nobody outside the family was involved in the killings, which are believed to have occurred at around 1 in the morning.
    The teen told investigators he woke up after hearing his mother and brother scream while his father was stabbing them.
    Investigative sources said they are verifying the 17-year-old's account of events as he did not present signs of a fight.
