Industrial production in July down in EU, -0.9% in Italy

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 13 - Seasonally adjusted industrial production in July 2024 decreased by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0. 1% in the EU compared to June this year, according to the first estimates released on Friday by European statistical office Eurostat.
    In June 2024, industrial production remained unchanged in the euro area and grew by 0.1% in the EU, Eurostat said.
    In July 2024, compared to July 2023, industrial production fell by 2.2% in the euro area and by 1.7% in the EU, according to the European statistical bureau.
    Italy recorded a 0.9% decrease from June 2024, said Eurostat.
