Mantovano lauds AISE

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 14 - Cabinet Secretary with the National Security brief Alfredo Mantovano on Saturday praised external intelligence agency AISE amid a case of criticism of the service by Defence Minister Guido Crosetto in a conversation with Perugia Chief Prosecutor Raffaele Cantone.
    "I thank General Giannai Caravelli and the men and women belonging to the External Information and Security Agency, which he leads, for the extraordinary work done at the service of the Nation, which has helped raise the level of security and knowledge on the part of the government on so many crisis scenarios," he said.
    "AISE's contribution is the fruit of elevated competences and loyalty towards the Institutions", (ANSA).
