(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 14 - President Sergio Mattarella said at
an event marking the Italian WWII Resistance in Friuli Saturday
that fascism was an accomplice to Nazi ferocity.
"Fascism, with the regime of the Italian Social Republic, was an
accomplice to Nazi ferocity", he said at a ceremony for the 80th
anniversary of the Free Zone of Carnia and Upper Friuli. (ANSA).
