(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 15 - Nine Italians were among 46 people injured in a bus crash in Egypt early Sunday.
The tourist bus accident happened on a highway between the cities of Suez and Cairo.
Seven of the Italians are in stable condition, but two are in critical condition and are being treated in intensive care, Ismail El-Hafnawy, director of health services in the Suez governorate, told ANSA.
One of the two, a 34-year-old woman, risks losing an arm, he said.
The hospital where they were admitted is ringed by police and entry is allowed only to diplomats from the countries of the tourists involved. (ANSA).
