(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 15 - A Palermo prosecutors six-year jail term request for Deputy Premier and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini for allegedly kidnapping 147 migrants on board Spanish NGO rescue ship Open Arms five years ago is "truly scandalous and embarrassing both in Italy and abroad," League Senator Stefania Pucciarelli said Sunday.
    Article 52 of the Italian Constitution says that "defending the Homeland is a citizen's sacred duty", she said. (ANSA).
