(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 17 - Italy's biggest and most leftwing
trade union CGIL will stage demonstrations on wages, tax and
industrial policies in October and November, leader Maurizio
Landini said Tuesday.
He said the government, "instead of giving tax breaks for
overtime and making people stay at work until they are 70,
should give tax breaks on wage hikes in national contracts and
renew public contracts to recoup inflation".
