(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 19 - A 74-year-old Italian man shot dead
his 72-year-old wife near Genoa Thursday "in order to put an end
to her depression because she was refusing to take her
medication," he told police.
The latest in a wave of femicides in Italy took place at Sestri
Levante.
The man, Giampaolo Bregante, shot his wife, Cristina Marini,
went to the Carabinieri and confessed.
