(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 20 - Only one person is believed to be
missing in Emilia-Romagna floods caused by torrential rain and
not two as originally reported, the prefect of Ravenna, Castrese
De Rosa, told a press conference on Friday.

checking".
Bagnacavallo Mayor Matteo Giacomoni told ANSA on Thursday that
people were being rescued from rooftops after the river Lamone
had broken its banks at Traversara causing widespread flooding.
Overall, nearly 1,500 people were evacuated in Emilia-Romagna
amid flooding caused by torrential rain.
The extreme-weather alert in the region has been extended till
