Salvini-Orban say 'urgent to stop Ukraine war'

'Pope's influential appeal' for peace shared

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 20 - Deputy Premier and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Friday had a one-hour-long meeting in Budapest during which they agreed on the "urgency to halt the conflict in Ukraine, as influentially urged" by Pope Francis, Salvini's spokesperson said.
    Salvini and Orban met on the sidelines of an informal meeting of EU transport ministers in the Hungarian capital Friday. (ANSA).
