(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 23 - Premier Giorgia Meloni had meetings
on Sunday with the heads of some top technology-and-innovation
groups after arriving in New York to take part in the 79th
General Assembly of the United Nations.
She met the CEOs of the Google-Alphabet group, Sundar Pichai,
Motorola, Greg Brown, and Open AI, Sam Altman.
The prospects for global technological and IT development, with
particular reference to artificial intelligence, were the centre
of the talks, the premier's office said in a statement.
The groups' investment plans in Italy were also discussed, the
statement said. (ANSA).
