(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 27 - A 26-year-old woman on Friday was
critically injured after another woman doused her with
inflammable liquid and set her on fire during a fight in
Catania.
The victim was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of
the local Cannizzaro Hospital after suffering 20% burns on her
face, neck, arms and chest during the attack which took place in
the middle of a street in the Sicilian city.
The 26-year-old is being followed by specialists from the
hospital's burns unit.
Sources close to the probe said that, according to preliminary
information that needs to be verified, the attack was connected
to a fight over the phone between two minors. (ANSA).
