(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 27 - Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister
Antonio Tajani on Friday urged Italians to lave Lebanon as soon
as possible amid an escalating conflict between Israel and
Hezbollah.
"I am following the unfolding of the crisis in the Middle East
with concern in constant contact with our embassy in Beirut," he
said on X.
"I again call on all Italians to leave Lebanon as soon as
possible.
"For all eventualities please refer to @ItalyinLebanon and the
Crisis Unit".
The FM urged Italians working in Lebanon to leave the country
two days ago. (ANSA).
