(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 30 - Italy's foreign trade with non-EU
countries saw exports in August rising 0.8% along with imports,
up 0.
Meanwhile, on an annual basis, exports to non-EU countries in
August decreased by 7.4% and imports sank by 6.5% compared to
the same month in 2023.
In addition, the trade balance with non-EU countries in August
registered a surplus of 2,687 million euros compared with a
surplus of 3,081 million euros in August 2023.
With the exclusion of energy, the surplus was equal to 6,930
million euros, down compared to an 8,176-million-euro surplus in
August 2023, ISTAT said. (ANSA).
