(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 3 - A bad weather red alert will be in
force over areas of Emilia-Romagna on Friday after the northern
region suffered fresh flooding on September 19 in the wake of
devastating floods that killed two people and caused untold
damage at the start of May, Italy's civil protection department
said Thursday.
The most vulnerable areas concern the plains around Bologna, the
coast and hills of Romagna with heavy rain forecast in the
afternoon of Friday over the central-eastern Apennines of
Romagna and plains.
Landslides and flood warning levels for rivers in the central
and eastern part of Romagna are also expected. (ANSA).
