DiCaprio dines in Rome, bodyguards use anti-paparazzo lasers

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 4 - Leonardo DiCaprio's bodyguards used anti-paparazzo lasers as the Hollywood star dined in a top Roman restaurants on Thursday night, sources said Friday.
    The Titanic idol was spotted dining at the outdoor tables of a restaurant in the center of Rome, a stone's throw from Via Giulia, and to avoid being snapped by photographers, his bodyguards used a laser with a blinding light for the camera lenses.
    The bodyguards first lined up in front of the photographers, including the 'dean' Rino Barillari, and then pointed the laser at their lenses.
    The actor then moved inside the restaurant from which he emerged wearing a surgical mask to cover his face.
    The 'strobe flash light' is said to be the latest trick used by Hollywood celebrities to avoid being filmed. (ANSA).
