Soccer: First Italy call-up for Maldini jr. and Pisilli

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 4 - Italy will now have a third-generation Maldini in the national team after Daniel, son of Milan great Paolo and nephew of Cesare, was Friday named among the 23 Azzurri called up by Luciano Spalletti for the double Nations League challenge, on 10 October in Rome against Belgium and on 14 in Udine against Israel.
    But the novelty does not end there: there are also the first call-ups for Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio, Milan defender Matteo Gabbia, and Roma midfielder Niccolò Pisilli (ANSA).
