Govt working to raise minimum pensions above 621 euro

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 5 - The government is working to raise minimum pensions above 621 euro, sources said Saturday.
    In addition to confirming the intervention of 2023-24 that brought them to 614. 77 euros this year, the sources said, the executive could go further by giving a further increase in addition to the revaluation with respect to inflation which should be 1%.
    Pensions of an amount equal to or lower than the minimum INPS (pensions and social security agency) treatment (598.61 euros) were increased by 2.7% in 2024, up to 614.77 euros but this measure is expiring and must be confirmed so that there is no going back.
    But in addition to this there could be a new mini bonus. (ANSA).
