Police officer shoots and kills a young man in Crotone

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 7 - A police officer, whose identity is not yet known, in Monday shot and killed a young man in Crotone, in the "Lampanaro" neighborhood.
    The officer was seriously injured in the incident, local sources said.
    The dynamics of the events are being reconstructed by the Carabinieri.
    The victim was named as Francesco Chimirri, a resident of Crotone.
    It is not yet known whether the police officer was on duty when he killed Chimirri. (ANSA).
