Business expectations have deteriorated - Bank of Italy

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 8 - Italian businesses' level of optimism about the general economic situation has deteriorated and entrepreneurs remain cautious, according to a Bank of Italy survey on inflation and growth expectations in the third quarter.
    The survey said businesses' assessments of demand, both domestic and foreign, have gone down.
    It said the outlook for short-term operating conditions remains weak, mainly due to economic and political uncertainty. (ANSA).
