(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 8 - Police in Rome on Tuesday staged a
number of arrests in a major operation targetting drugs gangs
active in the Torre Angela district on the eastern outskirts of
the capital, sources said.
The operation was linked to an investigation coordinated by the
District Anti-Mafia Directorate and members of the Casamonica
and Spada clans are among the suspects, the sources said.
