EU OKs 1bn in aid for flood-hit Italian farmers

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 9 - The European Commission said Wednesday that it has approved, under EU State aid rules, a one-billion euro Italian plan to support farmers affected by floods and landslides in some of the country's regions.
    The affected regions are Emilia Romagna, the Marche and Tuscany (ANSA).
