(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 9 - Deputy Premier, Foreign Minister and
Forza Italia (FI) leader Antonio Tajani said Wednesday he
opposed any new home-property tax.
Commenting from Brazil a proposal by Economy Minister Giancarlo
Giorgetti to ask Italians who used a building bonus for an extra
sacrifice, Tajani said "we are against any new property tax".
"Enough taxes, for Forza Italia it is clear that it is not
possible to increase fiscal pressure.
"Let's see the project, let's discuss it, but the principle is
that it's not possible to add more property taxes", added the
leader of Forza Italia after Giorgetti said he planned to revise
land registry real estate valuations for those who had renovated
property with a building bonus. (ANSA).
