(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 15 - Elon Musk's contact in Italy Andrea
Stroppa told ANSA Tuesday that he was "totally extraneous" to a
graft probe in which the CEO of tech company Sogei was arrested
in a case allegedly involving defence contracts.
"I would like to forcefully declare my total non-involvement in
the accusation that was recently formulated against me by the
Rome Public Prosecutor's Office, which hypothesized my
involvement in an episode of corruption of an officer of the
Italian Army", he said.
"I would like to clarify - explains Stroppa - that all the
relationships I have had over time with public officials have
always been characterized by the utmost correctness and
transparency. Furthermore, I have immediately provided full
cooperation to the investigators, hoping that my total
non-involvement in the facts being investigated can be
ascertained quickly. Therefore - he concludes - I will continue
in my work with the usual seriousness". (ANSA).
