(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 16 - The province of La Spezia and several
municipalities in Liguria on Wednesday decreed the suspension of
in-person lessons Thursday in secondary schools following the
orange hydrological weather alert for storms issued by the
Ligurian Regional Agency for Environmental Protection (Arpal).
The decree issued in La Spezia was signed by the president of
the province Pierluigi Peracchini, "to reduce the risk to
students during the alert".
