(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 16 - Holocaust survivor and Life Senator
Liliana Segre on Wednesday said artificial intelligence could be
used to prevent racial and anti-Semitic hate speech as well as
any form of online discrimination as part of a proposal to be
included in draft legislation on AI currently being examined by
the Senate's environment and social affairs committees.
The proposal to change article 3 of the draft law to 'train'
algorithms against forms of online abuse was illustrated by the
senator to the committee she chairs against forms of
intolerance, racism and anti-Semitism which gathered on
Wednesday.
The senator said she hoped the other members of the committee
would sign the proposal to include the measure in the draft
legislation. (ANSA).
